Have worked in community services since 2006 working with young parenting homeless women in supportive accommodation - Qualified as Social Worker in 2007 as a mature aged student and worked as Case Manager in Youth Homelessness services/Supported accommodation, then as Case Manager in supported accommodation for women exiting prison as well as 60 bed program. 2010-13 as Case Manager working with whole families addressing barriers to employment - such as Mental health issues, homelessness, drug & alcohol issues, incarceration, illiteracy, parenting, school attendance etc. Then as Senior Case Manager in same program then as Acting Manager. 2013 to current as Manager of Mental Health program.Current skills utilised are Line supervision, Human Resource Management, Clinical Supervision, report writing, research, program budget management, Program Planning and Evaluation, Quality improvement.Previous experience includes as Sole Trader of small business - retail - 3 years, Clerk in accountancy practice, Receptionist Clerk in Financial Brokerage practice. Prior to this as Office Manager in Commercial Marine Retailer partnership on West Coast and as Book-keeper/Shore Manager of family business in Primary industry-Lobster fishing.
