I paint and teach all skill levels at my studio in NE Minneapolis.My ink brush work is inspired by the beautiful and powerful environment of nature in all its forms from my backyard flower to forest wilderness. I turn to nature to replenish my soul, to remind myself of my place in the universe, and to find peace. Using brush and ink, I interpret from my heart.Frame has been playing with ink for many years. She is a pioneer of vertical calligraphic brushwriting in English, and integrates her American experiences into her use of Asian materials. She exhibits worldwide, with work included in museum and corporate collections. Frame is a painter, a poet, a published author, and a teacher.

Helping to start a new company crafting gorgeous surface material by melting, casting, and annealing taconite tailings from the MN Iron Range. We call this material AuroraStone because it reminds of the Northern Lights. AuroraStone is glass-like, with pools of iridescence and rippling texture; the inky black surface reflects the surrounding colors.
