I established The Postnatal Distress Centre in 2005 to provide specialist therapy and counselling and support for women and men experiencing antenatal and postnatal depression, anxiety, birth trauma and attachment and parenting distress. This includes:• Assessment and counselling for women with a history of emotional illness who are preparing for pregnancy• Psychotherapy for depression, anxiety and birth trauma during and after pregnancy• Couples counselling• Grief counselling for miscarriage, stillbirth, newborn loss or termination• Infertility support• Neonatal intensive care support• Complications related to pregnancy and birth• Attachment difficulties and parenting stresses including adjusting to parenthood• Support for exploration of women’s issues including self-esteem, sexuality, body image, and intimacy.I also has a general practice for adult women, men and couples with issues of depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationships.I welcome self referrals or referrals from others and can be found on Level 2, 300 Great South Rd Greenlane.
