I am a natural problem-solver and curious about the world! My varied interests and skills in engineering, technical writing, project management, psychology, education, and visual design have led me down an interesting career path. I've designed onboard crew displays for the Space Shuttle; trained astronauts; taught math to at-risk high school students; designed executive leadership courses; and a few other things in-between. I love figuring out how to improve the relationships between systems, processes, and people.

Projects included technical eLearning modules using Articulate Storyline software, Lync webinars, and week-long leadership development programs. Also used my visual design and written communication skills to develop client communications such as project charters, stakeholder analyses, technical reports, and company promotional materials such as sell sheets, brochures, and blog posts. -
High School Math Teacher And TutorHouston Isd Oct 2009 - Jun 2012Houston, Texas, UsTaught Geometry at an HISD charter school with a high at-risk student population. My primary goal was to design my lessons so that my students would see the real-world relevance of math competency, and become self-motivated to learn the concepts. I enjoyed the challenge of helping these students empower themselves - guiding them to learn how to live up to their potential. -
