Maintaining the DOT Driver Files for 450-500 drivers - DOT Medical Re-certifications, Verification of National Registry as well as the CDL Medical certification status/DMV, Annual Driving Reviews; Verification of Previous employment, Assist with DOT Driver Qualifications, DOT Annual Vehicle Inspections along with various other administrative duties.

I work in the Vehicle Operations Department at the corporate location for H&E Equipment Services. My job consists of sending out the DOT Packets to all new candidates for DOT Driving positions and then process all required information in those packets to get the candidates qualified and/or hired on as DOT Drivers for the company. I also send out Driving History Statements and the Annual Driving Reviews for our DOT drivers. All DOT Drivers are maintained in a Driver management system called Encompass which is a J.J. Keller program. I also work with the Managers, Service Managers, and Rental Coordinators at our branches on a daily basis to make sure that our drivers are in compliance with DOT regulations.
