- Developed comprehensive Rural Division Medical Staff Manpower Plan; recruited 18 full time and 22 specialty clinic physicians /physician extenders to two rural hospitals over 4 years. - Created and implemented an innovative Recruitment Expansion Strategy to identify, engage and cultivate early commitment relationships with local students entering medical schools or PA / NP programs. - Hosted well-attended semi-annual continuing education workshops for local attorneys / financial planners thereby cultivating new opportunities for future planned gifts within our community. - Identified and successfully implemented Rural Division New Practice protocols to provide an organized, consistent practice ramp up for new physician offices or clinics. This program was subsequently expanded for use within the Mercy Northern Region. - Developed and effectively rolled out Rural Division Physician Retention & Integration Plan to improve medical staff engagement and long-term physician commitment to our community.- Coordinated the development, fabrication, placement and installation of all interior and exterior signage (way-finding, OSHA and patient safety required, department & service identification) and donor recognition plaques at newly constructed Mercy Tiffin and Mercy Willard Hospitals. Negotiated design concepts, pricing and installation details with six different vendors - met strict budget and tight timeline goals. - Participated in vigorous multi-year Strategic Planning & Senior Leadership efforts resulting in the construction of a new Mercy Willard Hospital and campus, opened in April, 2012.

- Led comprehensive 18 month strategic planning process to create Vision Statement and secure Board & Corporate commitment to build a $55 million replacement Mercy Hospital on an innovative healthcare campus in Tiffin Ohio (Facility opened July 2008). - As President & CEO of the Mercy Tiffin Foundation (2005 - 2008), led a successful $5.3 million Capital Campaign to support building the new Mercy Hospital, exceeding the $4 million baseline and $5 million stretch goal. Implemented Donor Recognition annual banquet and Donor Excellence awards for the Mercy Tiffin Foundation to secure Capital Campaign donor engagement post-campaign. - Coordinated development of comprehensive 2005 Medical Staff Manpower Plan; recruited 7 full time and 7 specialty clinic physicians to our rural hospital within 4 years. - Designed the concept and managed the fabrication / installation of highly innovative interactive Donor Appreciation wall and Mercy Hospital 100 year History wall in new facility atrium. - Oversaw all marketing material development (new facility, fund-raising & service line) and media placement, developed all internal & external communications and roll out of MHT sales initiatives within the market area.- Oversight of all physician recruitment, retention, liaison and hospital/ community integration activities including contract negotiations, orientation, welcome events and successful launch of long term specialty physician clinic satellites on the MHT campus. - Developed criteria and process to implement annual Physician Excellence recognition program. - Developed the Willard Business Health Coalition, a strategic initiative engaging the Chief Executives from the 6 major local business in order to improve communications, services and cooperation between the business community and Mercy Willard Hospital and its medical staff.

- Gathered / analyzed demographic, business and health service provider data for 20 county MHP service area to facilitate regional strategic planning for MHP outreach and provide 'feet on the street' competitive intelligence on a weekly basis.- Developed a comprehensive protocol to effectively identify, develop and implement regional medical specialty satellite clinics. Successfully placed 9 specialty outreach clinics in strategically beneficial locations within a 20 month period. - Consistently exceeded goals for physician practice encounters in 20 counties to promote MHP services, roll out the new Mercy Children's Hospital & providers, increase referrals, improve brand recognition and track competitive presence and provider feedback in key service areas.
