After balancing my time working in non-profits, helping manage a small business and raising my family, I am now eager to join a team working toward meaningful climate solutions.  I have immersed myself in volunteer work in this area through Hennepin County, the City of Minneapolis, and my immediate neighborhood.  I am now looking to elevate this energy into my full-time work. Non-profit work is where I started my professional life after finishing graduate school with a degree in Non-Profit Management.  For years I worked in development – first in the arts (New York theaters, Denver Art Museum) and then in social services (WomenVenture, Neighborhood Involvement Program).  It was at this time I took a number of years to focus exclusively on my then young and growing family and worked at our small family business.  My role there included project management, account services, and customer relations.    Here are the things I believe I bring to a team and organization.  I can be counted on to show up to do the necessary work with a collaborative and team-centered focus.  I bring a passion for community engagement, be it in education or policy.  I welcome opportunities to work with communities as an active listener and climate communicator.  I bring both a growth mindset and mission-driven work ethic to help create climate solutions.  I am ready to find my place in this critical and urgent work.
