In June of 2019 I accepted Frayt’s offer to become their first Network Operator as an independent contractor. I worked with drivers and customers to ensure timely deliveries, and as an intermediary for customer and driver support communications.In September of 2019 I accepted Frayt’s offer to assume the role of Director of Driver Services as an employee of the company. As a Driver Services Coordinator my role is to recruit independent contractors using a vehicle owned or long term leased to make deliveries. Ads are created and posted in select markets with a link to Fountain to begin the sign-up process. Once the sign-up process is complete, I review and verify all required information and send for a background check. Background checks are reviewed, and the individual is approved or rejected. To date I have recruited over 23,000 interested individuals and onboarded over 4600 independent contractors.As a Driver Support Representative my role is to manage existing driver’s support requests in HubSpot, Fountain, email, or phone. This can be anything from onboarding help to updating a vehicle. I created template replies and knowledge articles in HubSpot to answer each ticket uniformly and efficiently. Fountain allows the potential driver to text message within the system for any questions during the sign-up process. As a Compliance Manager my role is maintaining and overseeing all independent contractors remain compliant with the current state and federal rules and regulations.I was put on part time status in January, however the workload remains full time.
