The Registry for University and College Presidents and Senior Administrators places interims at senior level posts such as President, Vice President and Dean levels. I possess over 25 years of experience in Higher Education, which include all areas of Student Affairs - Student Government, Athletics, Counseling, Career Engagement, Campus Ministry, Multicultural Student Life and Student Activities. I have been employed as an Assistant Professor in CUNY and an adjunct Professor in Graduate Studies in two Colleges. My experience in Higher Education Administration includes 12 years at Wagner College, 3 years at Kingsborough Community College (CUNY) and ten years at St. Joseph's College, NY (Brooklyn and LI campuses) serving as Vice President for Student Life and Dean of Students.My educational experience includes degrees from CUNY, Wagner College and the distinguished, doctoral program in Higher Eduction Administration, Leadership and technology from New York University from which I was awarded a Ph.D.

NYS OASAS Certified Counselor. Manages case load and provides counseling for clients seeking support in a NYS OASAS licensed outpatient facility. Provides counseling, vocational and educational support and case management for clients. Work with support team of CASACs and Mental Healrh Counselors.

Instruct and develop CASAC classes to facilitate training of perspective, substance abuse counselors for OASAS licensed program.

The Tackling Youth Substance Abuse Coalition (TYSA) initiative is a coalition of people and organizations who have come together to decrease youth substance abuse on Staten Island. It is a dynamic partnership of private and non-profit organizations; city and state government agencies; philanthropists; parents, teachers and teens— many of who have been working to combat alcohol and drug abuse for years. The TYSA Coalition initiative is different because all of its members work together to help one another, and the whole community tackle youth substance abuse.

Oversees the coordination and administration of all aspects of ongoing programs. The Operations Director/Program Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day behind the scenes operations necessary to ensure that the organization achieves its objectives related to the mission of ADAPP. The Manager oversees data entry, accounts payable, payroll, grant report entry, managing the organizations HR, helping and creating organizational and program budgets in collaboration with the Executive Director, Clinical Director and the Management team.

Approximate number of students 5,200 and residential population on Brooklyn campus. Supervised Student Government and Student Activities and Clubs on both campuses. Designed Crisis Management Manual with members of the Department of Institutional Advancement. Chaired Food Service Committees on both campuses.Developed Crossroads co-curricular project initiating collaborative work between faculty, students and staff. Piloted Freshmen Year Experience Program in Brooklyn. Implemented FYE 101 College Success Strategies for Freshmen Fall 2007. Supervision of operating budgets for student services and athletics (with CFO). Collaborated on “Change the Game Mentoring” Program grant from Bank of America. Program designed to provide aid in access to higher education to underprivileged high school students.Collaborated on development of Personal Counseling & Wellness Center (LI& Bk.).Developed the Greek Council on the Long Island Campus. Brought first annual mandatory Hazing Educational Speaker program to both campuses beginning in Spring, 2007.Developed and strengthened Orientation programs for new and transfer students on both campuses.Defined and implemented the Student Athletes’ Academic Eligibility Policy in collaboration with the Athletic Directors and Academic Deans.Established the first two campus Orientation Leader Training program. Implemented Office of Career Development, Wellness and Disability Services. Designed and implemented Health Services offices both campuses.
