I produced design information (early stages to planning documentation) for a new major residential and mixed use development comprising 600 residential units on Newington Causeway/ Borough Road in Southwark, London, as part of a team; liaising with consultants and suppliers.

I worked on the design of a large mixed use residential, office, retail, leisure and hotel complex on reclaimed land at Pulau Melaka in Malaysia. I produced sketch options for the arrangement of buildings and worked on the internal organisation and layout of buildings of mixed uses.

In April and May ’12 I ran the design for a 100 apartment scheme within the context of theFramework Plan of Urban Splash for New Islington in Manchester. I developed plan types and site layout options for planning, attended meetings with the client and liaised with consultants.

From February ’11 until July’11 I have been responsible for the design of the affordable housing (192 units) within the Seagrave Road scheme, a major residential development forming part of Farrells Seagrave Road Masterplan comprising over 800 units. I lead a team taking the project from initial design stage to preparing the planning documentation.

From January ‘10 until October ’10 I worked on a 30,000 sq.m new-build mixed use commercial, office and residential development in Piccadilly, Westminster alongside the project architect. I have been involved in taking the project from feasibility to planning stage; producing all planning drawings and attending meetings and liaising with consultants.

From March ’08 to September ’09 I ran a project involving alterations to the New Wimbledon Theatre in London. I was involved in preparing a feasibility study, and went on to produce the planning and building control submissions for phases 1 and 2. The detailed design was completed and I frequently inspected the construction progress on site. Throughout my work was checked by an experienced job runner in the office (budget phase 1: £145,000; phase 2: £400,000).In September and October ’09 I produced presentation drawings for the Stage D Report for remodelling works to the Cheltenham Everyman Theatre (budget £2m).For a two month period I assisted with the production of feasibility and planning drawings for the change of use of the Gaumont State Cinema in Kilburn to a Place of Worship for Ruach Ministries.From December ’08 to February ’09 I worked on the planning documentation for the fit out of the new build shell for the St James Theatre in Palace Street, London.From September ‘07 to March ‘08 I worked on a new-build mixed use commercial, office and residential scheme on Caledonian Road in London, producing detail drawings and schedules for Stages C, D and Tender (budget £5m).For two months I assisted with the detailed design for a new Performing Arts Centre for the Cheltenham Ladies’ College (budget £6m). During a five months period I worked on a series of renovations to the Cliffs Pavilion Civic Auditorium in Southend-on-Sea (budget £400,000). My involvement included running the project from initial studies up to practical completion. During this, I gained experience of inspecting work on site.

I assisted with the reconstruction of a listed, historic market hall, creating working drawings for the tender documentation, electrical layouts and provided information for cost evaluations. I also assisted with the renovations of a school producing all planning and building control documentation.

I was involved in the remodelling of the interior of a Villa in Berlin, creating design plans and construction drawings under supervision of the project architect. I was also involved in the creation of information of a series of terraced houses in Berlin, where I created working drawings of the project.
