I have over 15 years’ consulting and management experience in business and IT, in a variety of industries including financial services, telecoms, technology, public sector, and transport. My primary consulting focus is information security and privacy, helping companies to build customer trust and loyalty by respecting their customers' privacy; to cut the costs of managing personal information; and to reduce risks of non-compliance with privacy legislation. I also help companies to assess information security risks, develop a cost-effective security strategy, evaluate security products and assist with implementation of a comprehensive security program, including security awareness training for managers and end users.I’ve worked in the UK, Canada, USA, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong. I’ve also travelled extensively to over 50 countries and every continent, mostly on the back of a motorcycle. My part-time job is helping my husband run www.HorizonsUnlimited.com, the site we founded after our own round-the-world motorcycle trip, which is now the premier source of information and inspiration for motorcycle travellers worldwide.
