As CEO Emeritus of the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI), Neely led an industry whose mission is to help families live better lives by achieving financial security and certainty. She is a past chair of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Committee of the 100 largest trade associations and the American Society of Association Executives. Washingtonian magazine includes her on its lists of most influential and most powerful women.In addition to her trade association leadership, Neely served as special assistant to the 43rd President of the United States, two members of Congress, and the longest serving governor in American history.Neely is President of the Global Federation of Insurance Associations, and serves on the B20 Finance & Infrastructure Task Force. She also serves as chair of the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute, and as a director on the board of the Global Child Nutrition Foundation.
