Pregnancy tests & Limited OB ultrasounds

As the Nurse Coordinator, I maintained a working knowledge of best practices relative to patient care, prevention of disease, safety/infection control, clinical systems, equipment/supplies, and OB/GYN care. I assisted the Medical Director with exams and treatments as necessary. In addition, I worked as part of the team to develop, maintain, and implement the Policy and Procedures Manual, providing oversight specifically to the medical portions. I negotiated bio-hazardous waste removal contracts, CLIA and Lab Permit renewals, and licensing requirements for medical staff. A significant part of this position included participating in the training and orientation of volunteers. HLS began providing Abortion Pill Reversal treatment in 2019 for which I spearheaded much of the research, customizing of protocols/policies/ procedures and implementation of treatment and services. Over the last 2 years HLS was researching the feasibility of providing STI testing and treatment and I assisted in the research and planning stages for this endeavor. Part of my responsibilities included the review of all medical content in client materials, educational programs, and presentation materials. In addition, I developed various materials for donor presentations, client curricula, brochures, and interactive client presentations.
