As an award winning artist and painter, Susan loves to translate the energy of nature into paintings that connect the viewer with Mother Earth.”Susan has a diverse work history; she is a successful entrepreneur and owned six businesses including a catering company, a gift shop and an online collectables and antiques shop; she was sole founder and principle planner for her own wedding & event planning company. Over the years she continued her art practice doing commissioned mural work in homes and painting children's furniture for clients, schools and preschools. Her fine art work hangs in collections in all over the world. Susan transitioned to working in health care at BC Children's Hospital from 2005-2014. During her time there she was known nationally as an innovator, leader, director, and mentor in the field of patient and family centred healthcare advocacy. Susan has excellent communication skills and is a compelling speaker. Susan is a published author of a children's book & is working on several others. Her volunteer work has allowed her to use her skill set to assist a variety of non-profit organizations, including Tourism New Westminster, The Federation of BC Writers, Canuck Place Children's Hospice, New West Artists, Bargain Barn Thrift Store, My Artists Corner and First Saturday Open Studios.
