After a career of working as a high school counselor and serving as a leader in various capacities, I started my own business as an Independent College Admissions Counselor and Secondary School Counseling Professional. I assist students as they navigate high school and prepare for the world beyond in an intentional and stress free way to reduce the collective anxiety of the college admissions process.I am a highly experienced Counselor with initiative, compassion, and the skills to support the growth of individuals. I possess robust community ties and professional skills in Academic & College Admissions Counseling, Restorative Practices, Secondary School Counseling, Social Justice Advocacy, Self-Care Advocacy, Leadership, Community Engagement,and Public Speaking.In October, 2024 my book ‘The Life of the School Counselor & the Call for Change in Public Education was published to serve as a guide to understanding the role of the school counselor, especially within the context of the current youth mental health crisis and public education. The book can also be a helpful resource to parents as they navigate the complexity of the high school years.
