I am able to love on babies and their families several days a week during the school year. I am responsible for receiving and returning each child and for their care while at the program. I oversee several teachers and verify the children's needs are met each day. I maintain all classroom paperwork and safety per the state licensing and program regulations.

Over the course of my tenure with MPI Architects, I performed many functions as Office Manager and ultimately Project Manager. As office manager, it was my goal to execute as many overhead functions as possible to create maximum billable time for other employees and partners. I performed all accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable; provided regular reports to partners and was the liaison with the firm's Accountant; shopped and coordinated all insurances including group medical and professional liability; ordered and maintained all supplies; trained numerous employees; supported Construction Administrator and maintained all construction phase documents including creation of proposal requests, change orders and other documents; maintained all vendor agreements and relationships; and other duties as requested. For the last four years of employment I was part of a team handling a 5-state Accessibility Program. The program consisted of site inspection, corrective construction documents, contract administration, final inspection and certification. My last year, I was the project manager and liaison with the owner.

As office manager I was responsible for a multitude of overhead and support functions. Initially, I was receptionist, HR coordinator, in-charge of all accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable, secretary to the entire office, and marketing assistant. As the firm grew, I continued my duties and oversaw the completion of several functions handed off to other personnel.

I was the Planning and Landscape department secretary. I supported a group of approximately 8 individuals and two Vice Presidents. I assisted in the development of specifications, prepared meeting minutes and various other support duties.

My initial duties included mostly accounting functions. I created and maintained a general ledger for the company books. I later assumed the additional role of construction administration secretary, typing and distributing all meeting notes, construction phase forms and submittals.
