On medical disability leave from Architecture currently (since late 2017)Licensed Architect, Washington State. Adjunct Instructor (Architectural Drafting) at Highline College (WA). In addition to teaching I worked part time 2009-2016 year for several architectural firms doing construction and permit documents in Revit or AutoCAD including industrial and retail projects for Helix Design Group of Tacoma, WA; multifamily residential projects for WRP associates in Seattle, single family residential for McNelis Architects in West Seattle with several houses permitted and finished. .In the past I've held a Project Architect position or worked on project teams in several mid-size architectural firms in the Northwest. Experienced mainly in residential & light commercial, civic and educational building types. I was involved in some client contact. I coordinated with engineers (civil, structural, mechanical and electrical) as well as other consultants, or with contractors during bidding and construction. Experienced detail oriented architect with productive speed in CAD/BIM to produce permit and construction documents. .Proficient in AutoCAD through v. 2017 AutoCAD LT; Revit 2017. Have used AutoCAD ADT as a BIM program. Moderate skills in Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite..Familiar with IRC/ IBC. Have developed working drawings/ details for typical light construction, masonry, steel/ curtain wall. I've worked on residential projects of conventional stud as well as TimberFrame and SIPS construction..I have not yet worked on an Equestrian Facility, but would love to: I have 20+ years as horse owner, dressage rider, and sometimes work in boarding/training stables.I also have a painter's interest in drawing, color, materials, and daylight. Finally, I am very interested in Sustainable Design and hope to achieve LEED certification.
