I am an attorney (Valparaiso School of Law 1988) specializing primarily in litigation, chiefly medical malpractice as well as insurance defense work of all kinds. I represent nearly all of the hospitals in the Upper Peninsula. In addition to handling their medical malpractice cases, I also provide advice and counsel to health care providers on risk management and general health care law. I also specialize in employment law (employer side) as well as municipal tort liability. I am a partner with one of Michigan's largest law firms, the Detroit-based firm known as Kitch, managing and staffing their Upper Michigan office located in Marquette.
