Provided blessings and baptisms, blessing of the hands of staff, commendations at time of death of a patient. Served on the DiversityCommittee for two years and implemented the nursing pocket cards for each nursing station, incorporating information related to Native American patients' needs. I did two residency projects: 1) Diversity Training at Nursing Grand Rounds, Oncology Nurses and the Pastoral Care Department (23 people); and 2) Developed and Co-coordinated a symposium entitled, "Caring for Our Families Touched By War," intended for caregivers in the community (soc. workers, clergy, chaplains, etc.) because 10,000 military personnel in our region were scheduled to soon return from Iraq & Afghanistan.Three times per year I participated in or organized Memorial Services for families of deceased patients. Participated in organizing services for families of patients who had been organ donors. During Pastoral Care Week designed and set up an elegant sacred space for nurses to come for meditation and blessing of the hands.

Designed Science Education Curricula for the Native & Northern Teacher Education Program in Labrador, beginning with Oral Tradition's stories of Causality.
