• Production underwriter for new business submissions for various operations in Western States and conducted analysis of coverage, financial statements and operations in preparation for Senior Manager's final pricing. • Underwrite renewals and analyze insurance to value, physical hazards, risk management, loss analysis, financials, account pricing and identification of cross sell opportunities while managing in-force account services for an $11 Million field of business with 85 to 110 agencies. Coverages included General Liability, Property, Fleet Auto, Workers’ Compensation, Inland Marine, and Umbrella/Excess Liability. Made agency field visits to key large commercial agents in N. Average premiums: $100,000 to $250,000 for all lines. • Converted American States policies to the Safeco policy system and identified a large number of renewal policies misclassified by agencies due to business operations or exposures. Assigning appropriate commercial classification for risks recovered several thousands of dollars in lost premium.
