She developed strong relations with the Jewish community in the US and is called upon regularly to address Jewish and Christian audiences about the many complex issues such as Evangelical-Jewish relations, Christian Zionism and current events in the Middle East. She pioneered the development of one of the largest networks of Evangelical leaders: the American Christian Leaders for Israel (ACLI) network.Susan has also served as a member of the International Board in Jerusalem since 2001 while serving as Secretary of the US Board since 1986. While studying in Jerusalem in 1980 Susan was present at the opening of the ICEJ and volunteered for the annual Feast of Tabernacles until moving to Washington DC on behalf of the organization to prepare for the establishment of a US Branch office there. Provided contract services for numerous small businesses and non-profit organizations including the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem. Services included financial and project administration, event planning, organizing office systems, occasional research and writing. As Special Project Coordinator oversaw two-year series of public relations luncheons attended by community leaders and CEOs of top Washington DC corporations.

Was responsible for all logistics for international UN-sponsored conferences in Cairo, Egypt and Miami, Florida, and for the Washington for Israel Summit in Washington DC. Previously had served as Coordinator or Registration and Coordinator of Hostessing for the annual Feast of Tabernacles Celebration in Jerusalem as well as Media Support Staff for the 10,000 participant Billy Graham Conference for Itinerate Evangelists in Amsterdam, Holland.
