Mitchell & Associates, LLC, in 2004 and continues to build her client experiences with executives in the natural resource industry.Previously, as a Managing Director, she launched the Global Metals and Mining Structured Finance group in New York for WestLB in 1999 where she was a leader in the bank's achieving IFR Awards 1999, as America's Project Finance Loan House and PFI Yearbook 2000 Bank of the Year as well winning WestLB's first Lead Bank role in -a $100’s million international Metals and Mining transaction.As a Director in Global Treasury at Cyprus Amax Minerals Company, Susan arranged financing for acquiring an Australian coal producing subsidiary and restructured Chilean operations to achieve up to $30 million savings per year as well as introduced an improved capital allocation model for the company, amongst other accomplishments.At CIBC, she structured and closed project financings for natural resource producers in USA, Canada and Australia, Latin America amongst others.
