Susan joined Berman McAleer in 2010 after building a successful practice at a boutique financial planning firm. Comprehensive financial planning marries her analytical side with a genuine passion for others. Strategizing solutions in partnership with her clients and other members of the professional team is a highly collaborative and personally rewarding process for her.As part of the Berman McAleer leadership team, Susan serves on the Executive Committee making strategic firm-level decisions as well as sitting on the firm’s Compensation Committee. She leads BMc’s Communications and Marketing department ensuring a consistent BMc brand image and voice throughout all firm-level communications. Joining the firm over a decade ago as Client Relationship Manager, she transitioned to a Lead Advisor role and became an Equity Partner in 2016.A past president of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Maryland, Susan also served as the National FPA Business & Education Task Force Chair in 2016. She current sits on the board of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council and is a former board member of the Baltimore Lyric theatre.
