The core responsibilities include :-Implement security policies according to the standards of the Safaricom company including: Physical Security, Access Control, Opening & Closing Procedures of sites and high secured zones, Information Security, Transportation of Valuables, Inventory, Delivery & Receiving Procedures, Bomb Threat Procedures and more.-Identify, define and Monitor all potential Security risks and threats, weaknesses and vulnerabilities to Safaricom Company.-Develop and implement a security awareness program to all Safaricom employees and contractors.-Define an effective operational security plan just in case of an emergency.-Oversee the day-to-day security concerns in all Safaricom facilities including supervision of outsourced security guards and ensuring their compliance with security policies and procedures.-Implementing and review the effectiveness of Safaricom security policies and standard operating procedures and recommend measures to enhance existing practices.
