I handle everything related to screening new applicants, hiring, onboarding, processing terminations, and everything in between. This includes any issues/inquiries that arise for the approximately 250 employees who are under my care, including timecard/ payroll issues, ordering uniforms, replacing badges, updating employee info as needed, ordering and organizing supplies, vacation requests, FMLA paperwork, etc. Before being promoted to this role within the company, I was a Production Associate, operating machinery in the factory environment that makes donuts and packages them for shipping. I worked at a fast pace while ensuring each donut was handled safely and met the customer's expectations. My love for learning provided me the opportunity to be cross-trained throughout several different parts of the donut making process.

I assisted customers through the claims process by filing new claims and by bringing existing claims to resolution. I educated customers in regards to how their coverage works and how it applies to their claim. I utilized critical thinking skills to resolve problems.

I led children’s classes. I provided weekly childcare, taught a Bible-based lesson, and trained volunteers. I created, disseminated, edited, and maintained volunteer schedule. I volunteered in classrooms of all ages ranging from birth to high school.

I was responsible for groups of 12 patients at a time. I interpreted maintenance manuals, examined and inspected aircraft components, monitored operation of machines, conducted tests, determined cause of operating errors, decided how to correct the problems, and maintained, repaired, and rebuilt functional components. I maintained the central library of technical publications where I oversaw 23 librarians in charge of 15 different libraries to confirm all libraries were organized according to regulations and standardized so that there was little variation between them. I examined the manuals to assess for completeness and accuracy, distributed them to appropriate departments, compiled information, assessed the needs of each department to ensure that workers had access to required manuals. I performed basic administrative and clerical tasks, including word processing, record keeping, scanning, copying, and faxing.

Operated heavy machinery to manipulate different metals in order to create custom bus interiors. Wired LED's, speakers, strip lights, reading lights, and ballasts for fluorescent lights. Some of the machines I worked with on a daily basis are the automatic numeric turret press, punch press, brake press, and pyramid roller. I follow detailed blueprints and schematics to create custom pieces that meet or exceed customer expectations. Served as the inventory lead for my department and receiving clerk for the entire building. I also assist with general production and assembly as needed.
