Oversee efforts to provide grantsmanship and proposal development resources, advice, service and support for 700+ faculty in Harvard's Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS), with the end goal of amplifying faculty-led research and collective research enterprise activities in the science, social science and arts and humanities divisions. Lead the development and implementation of programs to strengthen proposal development, including on-campus workshops, web-based materials, and other resources and initiatives to assist faculty in developing competitive funding proposals across FAS. In 2016, my group began providing research development services to 100+ faculty in the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS). We offer support services including identifying funding as well as grantsmanship and proposal development advice and support for all faculty in FAS and SEAS, with a special emphasis on supporting new faculty.

Foster the development of large scale research proposals; support proposal development and submission for major projects.

Consultation and support for individual faculty and administrators preparing grant proposals and for teams of faculty preparing interdepartmental, multidisciplinary proposals. Expertise in finding funding sources, developing broader impact statements, management plans, evaluation plans and proposal development strategies. Develop and conduct workshops on proposal development and grantsmanship for university community. In FY 2009, I contributed to major project proposals resulting in total project awards in excess of $32 million.
