About Susan Oakes

i love to keep testing myself and trying new ventures. I have recently opened my own cafe/restaurant and am loving the challenges of bringing a new business successfully out of the ashes of C-19.Having enjoyed the 10 years with Leicestershire Constabulary I felt it was time to move on and try new adventures. Since leaving I have worked with a friend to ensure her business was fine-tuned and received an industry Gold Standard award before moving to Valencia, Spain to teach English in a University Academy. I achieved an Advanced TEFL certification with a Distinction based on my actual teaching and reflective diaries and reviews.I still love to support and mentor people to work with innovative businesses to help review and regenerate to work effectively.I own and train my own horse to Elementary level at Dressage. In 2014 I qualified for the PetPlan Equine Regional Championships. I am also a keen rugby fan and enjoy spending time supporting The Leicester Tigers and England.
