Conducting comparative research on philanthropy and public policy and regulation of the nonprofit sector as a Visiting Fellow at Penn.

SPPA is the oldest and largest graduate school of its kind in Canada, offering a PhD in Public Policy, MA in Public Administration, Masters in Sustainable Energy, Graduate Diploma in Policy and Program Evaluation (among other diplomas). In 2013, we began Canada's first Master of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership and in 2015 will introduce a new concentration and Diploma in Indigenous Policy and Administration.

The (18th) annual conference of IRSPM, one of the leading academic associations for public management, came to North America for the first time in April 2014, hosted by the School of Public Policy and Administration at Carleton University.
