My first novel is now being represented by Trident Media Group. While Mark Gottlieb, my agent, works at finding a publisher, I am hard at work on my next novel! In between, I am losing and finding myself in writing short stories and features. Several have been published, and several are still out there in the world ready for acceptance!In the fall of 2023, I retired after three decades of teaching. I could not imagine anything being able to lessen the loss of teaching English, connecting with students, and working with unequaled colleagues. Happily, though, the freedom to write full time has funneled my sadness, and that week or so of aimless wandering, into rewarding productivity and pleasure.Of course, being a great learner is what makes a teacher great. I continue to be a student of life: reading, writing, and loving as much as I can.
