With over 18 years in higher education, I joined the Rollins College of Business at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2023. I work to prepare students to enter the workforce in the areas of finance, management, marketing, and accounting. I currently teach career-related services to students and alumni, including resume and cover letter writing, how to effectively use LinkedIn, strategies for interviewing, job search skills and professionalism. I am honored and excited to be working with my colleagues in the Student Success Center to foster our graduates and help them make the transition from college students to young professionals.Prior to joining UTC, I worked for 10 years at Middle Tennessee State University in the Honors College as a coordinator of student programs and academic advisor. I developed the Honors Ambassador program, planned and led study abroad and study away trips to Italy and Washington D.C., and coordinated and administered Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society on MTSU's campus. I worked directly with students in all capacities of my job fostering opportunities for leadership development and success, as well as guiding them through the Honors College program to graduation.I began my career in higher education at Virginia Tech in the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department as an Information Officer where I edited journal articles and research proposals, created training materials, and assisted in the administration of four college courses.
