For the past seven years, I have been managing several indirect spend areas: material handling equipment ( forklifts/ skid steers/ loaders etc) and waste management/ recycling. Category management skill areas: market analysis, strategic sourcing, negotiations, business reviews, and effective contract management. Within our waste area, Solid and Hazardous as well as equipment and recycling are managed. Program conception, proposal development, project management, and implementation across broad groups of stakeholders are skills employed for effectiveness in these categories. In addition, I have solid experience in marketing recovered materials, material recovery consulting, effective decision making, understanding total cost of waste ownership and driving sustainability solutions. I engage in a broad spectrum of Supplier Sourcing and Relationship Management activities, with over 400 suppliers, 20 strategic. Background in commercial sales management and marketing. I am an effective project leader experienced in working with diverse organizations to create bottom line improvements. I enjoy negotiations challenges as well as ongoing account relationship management.
