Susan Ramirez is an active and international actress, model, singer,dancer,choreographer, and all around performer. She has been seen and featured soloist in countless venues across New Jersey and New York City. Her Principal roles in Theatre and Broadway musical credits include : Mimi Marquez (RENT), Carmen Diaz (FAME), Maria in (West Side Story), Taylor Mckessie (High School Musical),Emma Carew(Jekyll And Hyde) and many more ! Susan also was cast in the United States premiere of FAME ,en espanol, in Washington DC! In addition to her musical theatre career, Susan carries a creative enthusiasm for choreographing! She is the returning Choreographer for her Alma Mater ,instructing the teens of Belleville High School in the following shows : In the Heights, Ragtime, The Addams Family, Songs for a New World, and Little shop of Horrors. Youth musical theatre choreography credits: James and the Giant Peach, Suessical, and Moana Jr.! She also wraps her second year as instructor at Angelic Dance Studios and The Studio at Hoboken, performing in a successful dance recital along with choreographing 3 numbers for the end of year show! Beyond choreographing musicals here in USA , She also had multiple opportunities to co create,direct and choreograph two original performing art showcases in Shanghai ,China for the students at Sunrise Art Group. Her dance talents have been recognized by NBC, Black Eyed Peas,and Shakira. She has choreographed music videos for numerous artists and finds immense joy choreographing routines for special events such as weddings, quinceneras , bat/bar mitzvahs , and Sweet 16s. She possesses a natural talent for the runway! Susan has walked the great white 80ft runway at the Manhattan City Center for New York Fashion Week.Susan posses an Amazon film credit for her feature in the Amazon original film “ Midnight Chaser “ and national commercials. Susan co-starred in SANCTUARY and recently was the lead actress in Episode 3 of Therapy Without a Degree The Series.She's also a Zumba Instructor in multiple studios! With a drive, and determination to succeed such as hers , it is natural that she holds a leadership position that allows her to fuel her passion for helping others meet their goals into an actively rewarding position. Susan has become an experienced educator, inspiring others like her to follow ones dreams ! She is currently choreographing, teaching, and instructing theatre, dance and fitness at Belleville High School, Angelic Dance Studios, the Studio at Hoboken, Lindeblad School of Music and Signature Fitness in New Jersey .
