Originally hired to be the assistant to the Chief Operations Officer and to process the appointment applications for the three life insurance carriers that we had at the time. As life insurance carriers were added the demand of the work grew so the Licensing & Contracting department was created. During my time as the L&C Manager I have created policies and procedures, checklists, and training manuals which I update when there are changes in technology and/or industry compliance regulations. I also took it upon myself to learn about commissions and how to read the statements in order to help the agents know how and when they were getting paid and to make sure they were being paid correctly. I also research licensing schools that are available to find the best ones to aid in obtaining and maintaining the agents life license. I also research Errors and Omissions companies to find the most competitive pricing for our agents. I have also conducted Break Out Sessions during our National Training Conferences.
