Assisting with the physician in office surgical procedures, cryogenic removals, and basic skin checks.

Triage calls of patients prior to and with any issues after colonoscopies or endoscopes. Handle all patient issues that come into the office. EMR , meaningful use, All Scripts Practice Management, schedule patients for scanning and surgical consults after abnormal scoping. Calling and getting all results of testing back to patients in a timely manor. Breath testing , BOT, LTT, HPYLORI. Sending all medications electronically to the pharmacy, obtaining insurance authorizations for noncovered medications. Rooming patients, as well as updating all to their information in the EMR and obtaining their vital signs.

As a team leader I managed a staff of 5 medical assistants, 4 receptionists, 3 physicians 1 Physicians assistant, and 1 Nurse Practitoner. I worked under a Practice Manager in a large Group Practice. I over saw patient flow and patient complaints. I would step in and assist as needed.

It was the same position as Team Leader, but we were bout out by Harvard Vanguard and they restructured the titles.
