About Susan Ringrose
Environmental specialist based both in Maun Botswana and Dalbeattie UK, with more than 25 years experience in a range of earth science projects including river basin analysis, agriculture and natural resources management in a tertiary education environment. My skills include the training in remote sensing, GIS, statistical analysis and development of research methodologies. I interested in new approaches to training and assisting agencies with in-house customised training for specific areas of capacity enhancement. My previous experience is mainly in Botswana but I have also worked in Canada, the Sahel, Australia and Sierra Leone. As an environmental consultant Sue has recently worked with SAREP on arable agriculture in northern Botswana and is currently working with the KAZA secretariate on land-use planning over the KAZA area.
