Lead and oversee all Administrative operations for the Division of Student affairs 41 Departments, 1,500+ full-time staff and over 2,000 student staff. Administrative services include:  Strategic Human Resources  Procurement ~$137M Accounts Payable ~$60M Accounts Receivables ~ $200M Workforce Planning Project Management Data Analytics Information Technology  Learning and Development Document Imaging Travel & Event Management Safety, Building Mgmt. and Operations Internal Controls and Quality Assurance Financial Services Active member of the Vice Chancellor’s Cabinet, providing input on administrative and operational decisions for the Divisions $450M operating budget.Formulate policies, procedures and guidelines to carry out the division’s core values for students, staff and faculty; Developed and established clear operational metrics and live dashboards that assist with strategic planning, performance management, process improvement and overall insight into the division’s operational health.Led reorganization of Administrative services within the division, with a 5-year strategic plan to manage and streamline operations to meet a 13% reduction in compensation expenses.Established the Student Affairs Project Management Office to oversee the IT, Communications and Procurement projects with a focus on governance.Created a Data Analytics function that is building a Business Intelligence dashboard to enable leaders to make data-informed decisions based on research and analysis.Leading a group to streamline processes to maximize the use of funds for student labor, eliminate staff labor time correcting errors and automate critical functions where possible.Implemented an Internal Controls and Quality Assurance function to ensure compliance with accounting, finance, and cash handling policies, practices and systems.

Division of Student Affairs Restructured the Finance function for the division – creating a high performance team that aligned with and supports the needs of all its customers. Our mission was to serve those who serve students. Created standardized reporting and quarterly business reviews with accurate forecasts and variance reports. Led the division through multiple years of budget planning achieving $12+Million in cuts. Identified, analyzed and improved key processes cross-departmentally spanning the division's 39 departments. Built and launched the division’s robust ticketing system that provides end-to-end processing times, allowing for more informed operational decisions. Led strategy, policy advice and implementation assistance to the VC, AVC’s and Directors in the Division of Student Affairs concerning operational issues, finance, human resources and organizational changes. Instilled a high performance culture with clear metrics for accountability and innovative thinking through lean management techniques.

 Oversaw and directed all finance, Human Resources and administrative services for the Admissions and Enrollment and Dean of Students portfolios. Led the team that created a shared service administrative model for the division that balanced resources to support under-served mission critical programs, reduced service duplication and increased service offerings and levels Restructured the administrative and HR services in preparation for our campus-wide Shared Services initiative in order to minimize detrimental impact on divisional units. Brought 3 new services to the portfolio- recruiting, event management, and a comprehensive travel desk.
