Susan Sacks provides board management support for associations and nonprofits with a focus on: governance and infrastructure strategic planning volunteer and leadership development advancement of educational and professional opportunities strategic partnershipsSusan enjoys working with volunteer leaders, helping them identify and apply their skills within their various organizational roles. A planner by nature, she is especially effective helping clients gain clarity around their mission, goals, initiatives, and the development of step-by-step processes to help them move their organizations forward.She recently served as the executive director of the School Nutrition Association (SNA of Mass.) while working with a variety of volunteer organizations around social justice and voting rights initiatives. Prior to working with nonprofits, she worked in publishing and corporate community relations.Susan is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and a Certified Governance Trainer (CGT) for BoardSource. She has a certificate in Corporate Community Relations from Boston College, as well as her MS in Human Services and a BA in Journalism. Susan is a member of BoardSource, the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), the New England Society of Association Executives (NESAE) and Nonprofit Executives (NPE.)
