In my role as Tribal Liaison at ODE, I collaborate closely with nine federally recognized Tribes in Oregon to promote Career Connected Learning (CCL), Career and Technical Education (CTE), and workforce development opportunities for American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) students. My responsibilities encompass actively gathering tribal guidance and feedback to shape state policies, systems, and programs, ultimately leading to the development and execution of statewide initiatives. This includes policy and data analysis, equity considerations, and comprehensive system and program reviews, all geared towards the enhancement of state educational systems. I excel at cultivating pivotal relationships with key stakeholders, encouraging engagement, and facilitating the implementation of innovative systems and program enhancements. I also have the privilege of representing the state by delivering program updates and presentations at public events, consistently advocating for equitable access to educational programs and systems.

Director of Compliance & Title IX Coordinator - Oversight and daily management of federal/state/agency regulatory compliance, admissions compliance, marketing compliance, and web compliance. Liaison between internal departments, campuses, and external agencies. Oversight and administration of Campus Safety Program to include Title IX, VAWA, Clery, and ADA/504. ECMC Education Policy Administrator, responsible for annual policy review/publication and compliance related policy development/updates. Civil Rights (Title IX) Program Coordinator & Investigator, responsible for Title IX program development, to include authoring and implementing policy, procedure and training updates for the 2020 Title IX regulatory changes. Management of the student services line, ethics line, withdrawal line, and responses to inquiries and complaints from external agencies. Partnered on compliance related internal audits, accreditation/licensing maintenance and outcome reporting documentation. Coproduced accreditation applications, renewals, SER's and response documentation. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) - Collaborate with DEI on development of Affinity groups and Employee Network Groups (ENG) and related events.
