NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital acquired Lawrence Hospital in 2014. Responsible for preparation of consolidated financial statements for three entities. Presented financial results to NYP Senior Management, local Board of Governors and Operations Management of NYP Lawrence. Responsible for all financials and supporting documentation in preparation for acquisition by NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital: Developed a detailed transition plan in collaboration with Corporate Finance; Successfully transitioned general ledger and payroll systems; Analyzed and established department staffing requirements going forth; Managed staff through the challenges of the merger resulting in a smooth transition; Successfully filed and received approval from NY State to retain and manage restricted assets post NYP merger.  Oversaw all audits including Internal Audits conducted by NYP and external audits. Prepared operating budget including development of the local business plans. Worked with Standard & Poor’s regarding the annual bond rating review. Actively participated in patient safety and satisfaction initiatives.
