As a former Editor at Large at Hello! Magazine, I have a track record in producing news-breaking celebrity and royal features for the magazine and across digital platforms. Responsible for generating a constant flow of brilliant feature and comment ideas, my role involved setting up shoots, briefing photographers and commissioning writers - as well as writing many of our main exclusives myself –whilst liaising with production teams and picture editors, to ensure features were produced to the highest standards. I have extensive experience of working with high profile celebrities and influential figures and have produced exclusive news-breaking features and ‘at home’ layouts with figures as diverse as Queen Rania of Jordan, Prince Andrew, Imran Khan, Giorgio Armani, Caroline Aherne and Alesha Dixon, to name but a few. As well as a keen news sense and ability to work to tight deadlines, I have maintained strong relationships across the media since my departure from Hello! Magazine, which has served me well as a contributor to a raft of national titles, including Elle Decoration, The Telegraph, Stella Magazine, The Sunday Times, YOU Magazine, Weekend Magazine, The Standard, Living Etc.. and The Essential Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Magazine, on a variety of subjects, including celebrity interviews and with particular focus on design and home interiors. I still contribute to Hello! Magazine and have produced several of the magazine’s royal souvenir issues, including its special edition supplement to celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday, which I entirely wrote and edited.In addition to my editorial work, I have produced original content for the furniture retailer OKA, Bedhead and the website of HRH The Prince of Wales, as well as a short film for one of Prince’s charities.Most recently, I worked as a Senior Media Officer at WaterAid, where I helped implement media strategies to highlight the work of the international charity, working on fundraising appeals, advocacy campaigns, corporate partnerships and setting up media and broadcast opportunities for our celebrity supporters, as well as producing regular press releases, features, op-eds and web content.
