Project Management Skills:• Define and track small to large scale projects including project definition, scope definition, task identification, task estimates, resource allocation, milestones and deliverables.• Capture weekly task actuals and maintain project plans using Project Workbench and Microsoft Project.• Create Gantt charts and spreadsheets depicting project timelines as well as weekly and ad hoc senior management project status requests.• Create project-tracking templates utilized by the Information Technology division. Business Systems Analyst Skills:• Instrumental in the design, testing, conversion and implementation of a new 5 million dollar client-server insurance administration system.• Tailor the application design to align with the business need including business and regulatory reporting, interfaces and extracts.• Meet with department heads, IT staff and users to define business requirements and project specifications and translate material into functional requirement documents.• Create and execute test cases, design test plans and manage approximately 20 testing resources for new software releases and/or modifications.• Evaluate incidents for scope to determine whether they are enhancements or application defects and coordinate with developers to assist with resolutions.• Define workflow procedures and extensive training of the user community on core application, new software releases and workflow enhancements.• Design and document the testing methodologies utilized throughout the company.• Central point of contact with 3rd party vendor on all software modifications.
