About Susan Stephenson

I am passionate about great children's literature and keen to encourage everyone to share books with the kids in their lives. I love to write stories for children, and would like to be published by a traditional Australian publisher. I have worked hard to build my blog, The Book Chook, to being a recognized source of information, tips and shared resources for parents, teachers and librarians across the world, and will continue to do so. More recently, I have begun to offer professional development sessions to teachers and teacher librarians as a way of sharing my enthusiasm for ideas that encourage kids to enjoy learning.
