Workers'​ Compensation Paralegal for the SC Uninsured Employers'​ Fund. I was the first paralegal hired in 1989 at the South Carolina Second Injury Fund to work with the SCUEF which was transferred back to the State Accident Fund whenever the Second Injury Fund closed the end of June, 2013. I have 37.5 years of legal experience, with 29.5 years of workers'​ compensation experience. I first worked as a legal secretary at Boyd, Knowlton, Tate & Finlay in Columbia, South Carolina in 1978, and also worked for attorneys in Savannah, Georgia from 1981-1986. I draft and file pleadings, Orders, Settlement and Repayment Agreements, Judgments, and Tax Liens; coordinate and notice depositions; subpoena records; maintain legal calendar; log in legal documents and miscellanous documents on computer system; farm out cases and monitor their resolution; compile monthly report of legal events for litigation coordinator, and monitor foreclosure and bankruptcy proceedings.
