After completing my Bachelor of Sciences and Masters in Lifelong Learning, I have spent years lecturing in healthcare at Asia's Leading Medical School, NUS and NTU School of Social Sciences and Ageing Research Institute for Society and Education.I am privileged to be a keynote speaker and featured expert in various conferences and publications. In December 2020, I published my second book - DIY Happiness Toolkit: Your Practical Guide for a Happier Life in the New Normal. As the President to the Society of Behavioural Health, I seek to improve the standards of behavioural medicine particularly health coaching and to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and the implementation of the work of researchers and scholars to the practitioners in this field of work. In the last 20 years, I've conducted over 1000 training seminars on healthy longevity and wellness, health coaching, aged care and healthcare and audited hundreds of work training programs for the Work Development Agency Singapore (now Workforce Singapore).Along with my friend, renowned gerontologist, Dr Emi Kiyota, I developed the age-friendly guide for SingHealth Ambulatory Centres.An advocate of healthy longevity, my latest health and happiness research involves Parkinson's disease, mindfulness and neuroplasticity.
