Susan Tate Email and Phone Number
I am an educator with more than 18 years of experience teaching in primary schools across all year levels. During this time I have lead change, not only in the classroom but also the community through my roles as co-ordinator of Sustainability, Gifted and Talented programs, Science and Studies of Asia. I have fulfilled roles on leadership teams and acted as mentor to colleagues.I recently joined the Cool Australia team, writing case studies for Enviroweek. There are many people taking positive action in sustainability in Australian schools! I find inspiration from the many educators that I speak with when writing the case studies.I am currently putting to use knowledge and skills obtained from studying Environmental Science, volunteering at Healesville Sanctuary with the learning experiences team. I am passionate about creating a sustainable future through education. I believe that small behaviour change has a big impact on our environment.
