•Partner closely with Director of Talent Management and VP HR of California to align strategic company goals•Provide consulting and support to 12 key business leaders and stakeholders across disciplines to enable talent management capabilities, as well as ensure recruiting and talent management work plans achieve efficiency, and sustain effectiveness•Spearheading 3 essential initiatives to include: Talent Acquisition, Job Structure/mapping and Diversity & Inclusion•Collaborate with 8 senior leaders, across CA, human resources partners, and hiring managers to develop strategic talent acquisition plan to meet immediate and long-term recruiting needs

Oversee a team of 6 recruiters (2 college recruiters and 4 in house) to maintain consistent practice of our pre-employment, alignment with diversity and inclusion goals and streamlining the recruitment and onboarding process. Use strategic approaches for both sales and operations to tackle problems.

•Partner with Director of Human Resources on internal investigations•Understand and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) and work in partnership with multiple Unions to ensure they are on the same page with specific initiatives and are “bought in” to the ideas/ concepts we provide our union employees•Provide counsel and coaching on people issues by assisting managers with the implementation of progressive discipline and performance management plans under the management of the department director•Reduced warehouse Worker’s Compensation by $300K and increased time to fill seasonal warehouse positions•Draft corporate communication, investigative reports and works effectively in conjunction with department director, corporate HR, and corporate counsel on an as needed basis•Partner with management and employee’s to communicate various HR objectives and procedures in compliance with company policy, union contracts and employment law

•Full cycle recruiting, partner with colleges and universities and local EDD offices•Created new sales divisions within entry level sales division•Train, support 200 + hiring managers •Developed and implemented outplacement sessions for displaced workers due to reduction in force for 50+ employees •Manage and administer pre-employment process in consistent manner and all seasonal hiring and general employment inquiries & facilitate all transfers, promotions and exit interviews

•Full cycle recruiting, sourcing & skill marketed candidates and completed outside sales calls•Performed 100 cold calls per week and interviewed 25 candidates per week•Partnered with clients to understand contingent labor needs •Extensive follow through with client to ensure temporary associate was performing to necessary standards
