I was the Team Lead of Amnesty’s International Recruitment Advisers, working across a client group of c.600. I was promoted in December 2016 to recognise me as the key recruitment and policy expert and driver within the advisory team. As International Recruitment Adviser, I led the design and implementation of a range of (often complex and matrixed) 360 international recruitments (c. 40 - 50 at a time) in the UK, Europe, Africa, Americas and Hong Kong, with particular focus on delivering higher level recruitment plans to fully staff start-up offices in Mexico, Peru and Washington. This is up to senior leadership level.I worked closely with HR Business Partners to understand and manage the complexities of international hires and start up offices.I also provided advice on sourcing and found candidates with niche skillsets using a range of search and attraction methods and consulted with stakeholders on potential solutions to wider sourcing issues.

As Resourcing Advisor, I operated a direct sourcing strategy and managed the recruitment of roles at all levels in our Publishing, Group and Distribution functions from start to finish. I provided a consultative and collaborative service to business stakeholders on their recruitment needs and sourced, screened and interviewed candidates in line with these, bearing in mind best-practise policies and the wider company aims. My focus is always delivering excellent customer service – to candidates and internally.Outside of the day-to-day recruitment, I worked on the attraction and sourcing for our entry level schemes (The Scheme and our annual summer internships) as well as a new, harmonised work experience offering for PRH. In my role as HR Co-ordinator, I managed the administration of contracts and employee lifecycle of temporary members of staff across Penguin and DK. I also worked on recruitment of temporary and permanent roles on the Penguin side of the business and supported the Senior HR Advisor with the permanent employee lifecycle.

Worked in close partnership with the Sales team to prepare all new business for underwriting and manage customer relationships. Covered for and supported Fundings & Completions, involving drawing up contracts and managing the allocation of funds to customers.
