• Develop the instructional leadership of Assistant Principals and Coaches from 8 schools through targeted professional development, school-based site visits and monthly instructional learning walks • Use assessment and performance data to directly address instructional, curriculum and culture needs through facilitation of cohort, school and grade level professional development sessions• Provide instructional support and coaching in both reading and math to over 18 teachers and teacher leaders• Strengthen the capacity and instructional leadership of teacher teams, instructional leadership teams, and grade level teams as key levers for school improvement• Establish a set of key instructional strategies and practices to increase student outcomes at 4 schools• Provide network level professional development using a thoughtful and purposeful implementation of Common Core Standards and assessments in both reading and math• Conduct school visits and instructional audits as a member of a team • Assist with the refinement of school Continuous Improvement Work Plans • Work with school leaders and instructional leadership teams to collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data relative to a school’s learning cycles to revise or develop systems for improvement• Co-construct and co-facilitate professional learning opportunities for school-based teacher leaders that are aligned to District initiatives • Act as the liaison between assigned school portfolios and Network Chief of Schools • Support school leaders as they refine their observation of teacher practice relative to planning, task and rigor and provide targeted and constructive oral and written feedback
