Conduct Root Cause Analysis and FMEA for sentinel events to include solutions and education for staff of Acute Care, Psychiatric, and Long-Term Care*Consultant in the development and training of clinical systems of care utilizing evidence based national and regional guidelines published by expert organizations.* Consultant to senior leadership team responsible for corporate compliance program development and implementation for a company that owns 29 facilities nationwide with over 3000 licensed beds. Reported directly to CEO and Board of Directors. * Provide legal nurse consulting and expert witness testimony in healthcare medical surgical, acute care and long-term care, clinical standards of practice/care, regulatory and corporate compliance.* Prepare case reviews and provide clinical and healthcare/nursing administration expertise for Attorneys for dispute resolution and litigation plaintiff and defense. Case reviews include request and review of pertinent discovery documents, review of applicable standards of care, literature searches, locating qualified experts as needed, educating attorney and trier of fact, locating and preparing demonstrative evidence. It also includes interviewing clients and witnesses.* Collaborate and partner with senior leadership, human resources, finance, reimbursement and clinical quality leaders in the design, implementation and management in areas of 5 Star quality Indicators, regulatory and corporate compliance for acute and long-term care.
