Since 2014, Class Action has hosted the first-generation summit. The first generation summit brings together first generation students and administrators from colleges across the northeast region to identify barriers experienced by students and identify solutions. Students and allies are able to share ideas through consultation and workshops. Summits present a unique opportunity for students and administrators to access materials, tools, and network to tackle identified barries on their own campuses.Planning Committee responsibilities included:- Participation in conference calls with students and admnistrators from different colleges- Coordination of volunteers- Recruitment of university students to attend the summit, registration of students, and transportation coordination.Summit Presentations/ Speaker:- Pa' Lante!
